Thursday 24th October
6:30 PM - 9 PM
SLC x Bloody Good Period
She's Lost Control is proud to present a collaboration with the charity Bloody Good Period for an evening dedicated to breaking the stigma around periods. This unique event will feature a blend of expert talks, interactive art, and personal storytelling, all aimed at making periods less taboo and more openly discussed.
Bloody Good Period will be delivering the keynote exploring the fight for menstrual equity and how their upcoming Halloween campaign is breaking the silence around periods. We'll dive into the importance of ending period stigma and discuss how we can work together to create real change. The session will close with a Q&A focused on practical steps individuals can take to normalise conversations about periods.Following on from BGP's mini lecture, SLC will open the conversation up to the panel of experts to discuss, then turning the spotlight onto the audience who have the opportunity to share their own personal period stories in a safe, inclusive and non-judgemental environment.

Idlu Lili Regulus is a European sorcerer, whose deep commitment to the Arte Magical also led to a complementary academic education in Archaeology and History. Especially devoted to the wild and untamed divine feminine, Lili’s work combines scholarship and intense magical practice to manifest esoteric glyphs emanating from the pregnant darkness of the ever-becoming Other.
Also in collaboration with Fluus, period-themed goodie bags will be available to have taken on the night, enter in a raffle, visit stalls selling period-related art and merchandise, and learn more about how to make periods a less "haunting" experience. Breaking the Curse of Period Stigma aims to reclaim the narrative around menstruation, transforming it from something hidden into a topic of empowerment and open conversation.
If you select the ticket with Aura Photography you will have your aura photo taken and receive a physical polaroid photograph with a card that describes all the different aura colours and positionings. This will be followed by an aura reading by Team SLC’s energy healers to help you understand your aura.
