Farzana Ali + Laura B. Childs

Want to immerse yourself in the power of colour and find our what hue your aura is? Then, join us for our first-ever SLC Aura and Sound Experience.

Combining colour therapy with the healing properties of sound, join Farzana (founder of The Sound Therapist) and Laura (events + community at SLC) on a colourful sonic journey through the rainbow.

In this special and intimate workshop, we'll dive deep into the science and art of aura photography. The session will begin with our signature Aura reading for each attendee, taken by Laura, as Farzana guides the group through an introduction of colour therapy.

Then, we'll regather as a group to explore the colors, patterns, and meanings within our aura photos where you’ll get an insight into what energies are present within you and what energies are calling for your attention. We'll spend time exploring the synergy of colour and sound and how they can bring us balance, awareness, and introspection and discussing the importance of colour in our lives in a beautiful sharing circle.

Afterwards, Farzana will lead us through a colour visualisation meditation and chromatic crystal sound bath. We'll set intentions and then be drifted off into a serene soundscape, which will allow you to sink into a nourishing and grounding meditative state.

To get the best out of your session, please wear comfortable, soft, cosy clothes, avoid alcohol prior to the session and bring water or a reusable water bottle.

Please note while sound meditation is suitable for many, it is not suitable for pregnant women in their first trimester, those with pacemakers, epilepsy, severe mental health conditions and those who experience sound-induced seizures.
