This unique and one-of-a-kind 15ct Green Tourmaline Crystal Pendant is handmade with love in our London studio and responsibly sourced by jewellery designer and founder of She's Lost Control, Jill Urwin.
Jill hand selects all her stones for their beauty, energy and journey. This piece is sustainably produced in 9ct recycled gold and is our first piece of jewellery with a gemstone on block chain. This information on it's origins will be passed onto you after purchase.
This gorgeous specimen of dark green tourmaline was sourced from Tawoma mine in Tanga, Tanzania through Moyo Gemstones, an ethical gemstone collaboration born in Tanzania. They work with female artisanal gem miners of the Umba Valley to assure rubies, sapphires, tourmaline, garnets, citrines, and amethysts, from mine to market. They work to empower women miners to work safely, mine better, improve financial security, and create stable, equitable markets for fair trade.
Moyo means 'heart' in Swahili (the dominant language in Tanzania) and in a few other languages around the African continent.
Green tourmaline brings the energy of growth, expansion and new beginnings. Connected to the heart chakra it opens up our heart to receive and express love and joy. Perfect for transmuting negative energy and thought patterns.
Handle with love and care at all times. To cleanse your crystal leave overnight in moonlight.
