About this experience

Sunday 20th March
12 PM - 2 PM

When was the last time you got clear about your desires?

The spring equinox is a time of awakening and rebirth. Give your desires a deep clean on equinox this year, and completely calibrate to what you truly want. It’s time to take a scrub brush to frustration, disappointment, exhaustion and whatever is ready to be finished as we move into a new season.

Please join us for a desire sharpening workshop and Nu Rooz celebration that has its roots in the indigenous tradition of 'shake the house.'

In Iran and across other parts of Western Asia, the spring equinox marks the Persian New Year, called Nu Rooz. In the lead up to the celebration, one of the many traditions we observe at this time is called ‘khooné takoonee,' which literally means ‘shake the house.’

When we shake the house, everything is completely cleaned and renewed. We shake out all the carpets, scrub the walls, shine the floors, and give away what we no longer need. We clear the house of the old and make space for the new.

This workshop is a space to clear out your own house—your body, mind, and spirit—of old or outdated desires and bring fresh energy to what you want to welcome in this new season. It’s easy to have all kinds of gunk clogging your ‘desire pipeline.' This workshop will help you let go of what you’ve been attached to and allow it to be reborn as something new.

Let’s clear out old disappointments and irritations, get a fresh perspective, and have a heart-centred look at what we deeply want and need.

Using intention, physical movement, energy healing, and ritual arts of revelation, Leila will guide you through a deep spring cleaning ritual to wash away all the dust and grime. It's deep and energising work—you'll walk away with clear and shiny desires pouring into your life this spring.
