FERTILITY SERIES: CONSCIOUS CONCEIVING WITH AYURVEDA
Saturday 28th May
10 AM - 1 PM
Deborah Rose

As part of our fertility series, please join us with Deborah Rose for a workshop on conscious conceiving with ayurveda.

This series is very close to our heart and explores the complex and challenging journey of fertility, family planning, pregnancy, and family care. We know this journey can feel lonely, but you are not alone. This series is for you, for us, for everyone.

Ayurveda is yoga's sister science. It is a 5,000-year-old medical philosophy and practice from the ancient Vedic texts predicated on the idea that we all are made up of different types of energy and that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit.

When it comes to fertility, Ayurveda focuses on the health journey of a “golden” egg prior to its release into the fallopian tubes. This means that Ayurveda's protocol starts 90 days before we might begin trying to conceive.

With Ayurveda, a couple would traditionally initiate their journey to conceiving with a series of treatments that would help their body rid any built-up toxins and offer their organs a clean slate. The idea is that once all built-up toxins and stagnation are removed from your body, healthy adaptions to your current lifestyle will have a much higher impact on your body. Your mind, womb and ovaries will feel renewed, nurtured and inspired.

The name of this series of treatments is Panchakarma. Although the full series is immersive, and often pricey, there are plenty of ways to weave the principles of Panchakarma into your—and your partners—lifestyle while you are getting ready to welcome new life into your womb or home.

In this course, we'll explore the following treatments:
Ayurvedic Liver Cleanse
Ojas Self-Massage
Follicular Phase: Clary Sage Ritual*
Marma Points for Health, Bliss and Fertility (for both sexes)
Healthy Sex Habits with Ayurveda

*This point can be done by the birther, as well as by those who support the birther. I will also share an alternative for point 3: a home cleansing ritual for those who want to apply this cleanse before baby arrives to their homes.

This course is to support couples in their journey before they are starting trying to conceive. The protocol is designed for both the birther and their partner; biological and adopting parents. Depending on your situation, it can be applied to the phase prior to conceiving; or to the three months before you are welcoming a baby to your home.

Deborah is a mother of 1 bundle of joy and an Ayurvedic Women's Health Guide, Doula and—as she likes to call it—your self-care P.A. In her practice, she helps mothers and mothers-to-be navigate through the wilderness of motherhood with *Hormonal Bliss*. These can be as tiny as taking a personalised tincture and as big as creating sattvic kitchen routines, your own moving meditation, mantra practise and mindful habits. I tailor everything to meet you where you are and love to give in to the fluidity of life which gives room for changing the protocol as it evolves with you.

She thanks her teachers Dr Vasant Lad, Dr. KP Khalsa, Dr. Marc Halpen, Terra Rafaël and the women of the Sacred Window Collective who educated her in the Light of the Maharishi Tradition as taught by Ysha Oaks. She continues to deepen her insights in continued education with NAMA.
