THE STORY
Mined in the outer reach of the Diamantina formations across the border of Minas Gerais, Brazil into Goias. We have been conscious to add value at source by working with a local lapidary to skilfully create the incredibly unique faceting detail on each natural point. Artisan, Lucelio, started cutting in the early 90s in Cristalina and is truly skilled.
This Tangerine Quartz is part of a hand selected edit that we picked it Tucson, Arizona. This Brazilian Tangerine Quartz then made its way on a pilgrimage to the energetic hub of South West states; Sedona. Jen took these to Cathedral Rock for a charge with sun, sound and sacred smoke. The Cathedral Rock Vortex is the only one of the four major vortices with “feminine” energy—where the energy enters the earth—and is said to have introspective power that connects you to memories and past lives. While the energy is more subtle, it is quite powerful, encouraging you to slow down, become calm and grow quiet.
